“A haircut should feel like your sexiest pair of heels,”

hair stylish Artur Kirsh said to me, as he was putting the finishing touch on my new and refreshed hair. This sentiment resonated with me.

Over the past year, my hair has been pink, silver, brunette and blonde (happy to provide photographic evidence if needed). So needless to say, it’s been through a lot. Luckily, it was given the best treatment at The Salon Project.

New York celebrity hairstylist Joel Warren and Philadelphia’s most sought after hairstylist Artur Kirsh recently opened The Salon Project at Saks Fifth Avenue in Bala Cynwyd. The Salon Project is not just another salon, “It is a revolution in the industry,” Warren said adding, “the concept revolves around a single stylist overseeing “one vision” brought to life for the client from check-in to check-out.” The Salon Project was born from an a-ha moment when Warren, a leader in the haircare industry for over 30 years realized that, although styles and services were constantly evolving, the traditional salon model stayed the same. He created a salon experience that offers expert stylists, curated products, and state-of-the-art technology.

The Salon Project offers services and treatments such as:

iPads are even equipped with augmented reality technology, which can be used if a customer wants to virtually try on a cut, color or extensions or learn more about a product. And hairdressers can complete retail transactions with customers via iPad, again eliminating additional contact during social distancing.

The button reminded me of the Press the Champagne button at Bob Bob Ricard.
The salon features original artwork by Yermolenko and Artur himself.
Hydration is key when transforming

I met with celebrity stylist and hair maestro Artur Kirsh. Aside from the fabulous haircut I received, spending time with Artur was enough of a reason to go, as I appreciated our conversations very much. He specializes in coloring and a style called “dry cutting,” which he did with my hair. He is the go-to stylist for models and local celebrities, and he has styled luminaries who range from local and national news reporters from all major networks to celebrities including Celine Dion, Kathy Griffin, Nicole Miller and Ken Downing. He has styled the supermodels of New York and Milan’s Fashion Weeks, the Chanel Trunk Show, Christian Louboutin Fashion Show at Neiman Marcus, the Carmen Marc Valvo Fashion Show and the Derek Lam Fashion Show. So yes, I was very honored to be sitting in his chair.

From start to finish, it was a five-star experience, AND I feel so fresh for the summer, Thank you Artur, Olena and The Salon Project for a fabulous experience!
