It’s definitely rewarding to see when your hard work is noticed by others, which makes you even more motivated to work harder toward your goals. As some of you may know, I have been interning at the Ad Council and blogging for their blog, AdLibbing. Recently, a blog written by another intern and myself was syndicated and featured on Expertclick.com! Check out it out here.
I also want to share my other posts featured on Adlibbing. If you didn’t know what to buy dad for Father’s Day, I present to you Gifts that Give: Father’s Day Edition. This was my first blogging assignment on for AdLibbing. What I really like about these gifts ideas is that they’re not only great and practical, but they also give back, as every single product on this list also helps someone in need. I really like www.giftsthatgive.com; not only are the products selections wonderful, but $1 out of every $5 goes to the American Red Cross. Awesome, right?
With the Books that Inspire series, we aim our readers to encourage both them and children to read. This week, we compiled a wonderful list for all young readers: click here to check it out.
For most people, talking about food safety is not their most favorite topic, but it is important. This blog post discusses the Ad Council’s Food Safety campaign.
Here is another blog post of mine on the blog, where I explore some of the best of the best featured at the Cannes Lions Festival. Before I started interning at the Ad Council, I wasn’t aware of what the Cannes Lions Festival was, but I am very glad I was introduced to it. It is the “world’s biggest annual awards show and festival for professionals in the creative communications industry.” While I was exploring through the plethora of campaigns, I couldn’t help but to feel inspired; so many of these campaigns are so powerful and effective.
So I present to you the creme da la creme of the “Charity/Not for Profit” category; campaigns that are entertaining and interesting, but still provide a positive impact. Even if you’re not a PR/Ad person, check out these awesome campaigns (my favorite is with the driving dogs).
