Meet Betty Who, your new favorite pop queen. Her music has the ability to make you feel like you’ve gone back in time to an 80s dance party, while simultaneously will tugging at your heartstrings. This classically trained cellist from Australia is the next big thing in music, and I can’t get enough of her songs. I’m such a fan, that my photo is in her lyric video for Somebody Loves You (1:42 for those interested). Her loyal fans, affectionately called the Who Crew, can be found at all of her shows. It’s easy to see why she has such a dedicated fan base, she is so engaging both online and offline.
I’ve seen Betty live twice and met her this summer (let it be noted she is the coolest girl ever), and her shows are not to be missed. This girl puts her entire heart and soul into her performances, and whether you know all of her songs or not, you’re guaranteed to have an unforgettable experience. She stole the show at Firefly Music Festival this weekend; check out the Billboard article for yourself.
