Hello friends! I recently returned from an incredible trip across the pond to London, and I’m so excited to share a few of my adventures with you over the next few weeks.
One place I was most excited to visit during my trip was Bumpkin, the “perfect neighbourhood retreat” serving “the best in British food.” As a fan of the Bravo show Ladies of London, now back for its second season, I knew I had to visit this restaurant owned by cast member Marissa Hermer. My mission was on to find the best brunch in London, and Bumpkin delivered.
We arrived at the Chelsea location on a Sunday afternoon and were immediately greeted by fresh flowers, warm colors and the aroma of what would be my delicious meal. We were taken to a stunning garden, where staff members were watering plants and tending to shrubbery. I felt at cozy and as if I was home, yet I was still dining in elegance. I was able to get a shot of the scenery, moments before the restaurant was filled with fellow diners.
I ordered my first, true British Sunday roast, which makes me wonder why Sunday roast isn’t a thing in America. It was absolutely fantastic, along with my friend’s baby back ribs. It was the perfect first meal to have in London.
