5 Cruelty-Free Beauty Products to Check Out

Happy Sunday all! I’m enjoying a very lazy Sunday and am currently watching the latest season of BoJack Horseman. I’m also attempting to clean out and organize my beauty products, when I thought I’d share some of my favorite products of recent! Best of all, they’re all cruelty-free brands. <3

It might come as no surprise that we’re starting off with a Lush product, as I have a serious Lush problem. Smuggler’s Soul is a really lovely moisturizer that smells like sandalwood, which is perfect for the winter months. It can also be used in your hair or as shaving cream – quite the versatile product.

Next is an item from my most recent Goddess Provisions box. Trillium Organic’s Body Polish is a great way to cleanse and exfoliate your body. It comes in a variety of scents – I especially love my Cedar Eucalyptus scented scrub.

With my skin type, I need to use a foundation that doesn’t leave me looking oily at the end of the day.  So when I recently went to Ultra in search of a new, ideal foundation, an Ulta Beauty Advisor pointed me in the right direction. She introduced me to the bareMinerals BarePro foundation with SPF and I couldn’t be happier with it. The coverage and lasting-wear is excellent.

Another item from Goddess Provisions! I looooove this Unicorn Dust from Let’s Put a Bird On It (I’m also internally screaming that they named their company after a Portlandia skit). It adds a nice shimmer to your face, and is infused with flower oils which is beneficial for your skin.

The final item is also unicorn-themed – The Soul Sunday Unicorn Aromatherapy roller. Roll it on your pulse points before you go to bed and you’ll notice you fall to sleep much more quickly like I have. The lavender scent is very calming,

I’m a nut for anything from Lush. Their stuff is so soothing – especially their bath bombs.

Amen to that! They rock when it comes to raising awareness about animal testing!
