The views alone are enough to visit…

We were handed the cutest s’mores goody bags, filled with all of the most essential items. Philly views, fall activities and great drinks? What more could I ask for.

Marshmallows, graham crackers and Hershey’s chocloate, of course. Complemented nicely with hot mulled cider.

There are several tables with fire pits throughout The Deck, also fully equipped with blankets for chilly nights. The “fire tables” are first-come-first-serve, and you’re bound to meet some new friends if you’re sharing a table. Once you have your s’mores roasting stick, you’re ready to go. It doesn’t matter how old we get – making s’mores will always be fun.

We also witnessed a truly monumental moment. Sarah, who is originally from Florida, made her very first s’mores ever over a fire at The Deck. As you can see, she killed it 😉

We also tried out some of their autumnal beverages – the Summer Fling being one of our favorites. But the hot chocolate was the real winner here (below). Perfect to share!

After leaving, we were both convinced it’s the perfect way to spend a chilly fall Philadelphia evening.

It’s open for all of October, so there’s plenty of time to head there for an evening of hot chocolate and s’mores. If you have any friends visiting Philly in October, I definitely recommend going to The Deck.  Plus, there’s always a fun event happening there.
