Here it is folks – the Philly Finds to potentially end all other Philly Finds. From dining recommendations, fear-facing activities and shopping spots, this post really has it all…

Dining at J. Alexander’s – After a long day of shopping at the King of Prussia mall, head on over to J. Alexander’s to refuel with food and drinks. My parents and I went together and enjoyed ourselves (plus it was really fun to give them a glimpse into my blogging life). Serving up sushi, steak and much more, this is the newly opened restaurant’s first location in the Northeast. The Deviled eggs are a must get, along with the avocado bomb sushi! I also got the spicy tuna roll, which was delicious. Our meal was comped, all opinions are my own

Ritual Ritual is my favorite shop in Philly for all things mystical and esoteric. Located in Northern Liberties, Ritual Ritual is your one-stop shop for crystals, sage, tarot and much more. If you’re new to the new age world, their staff is BEYOND helpful in aiding you in what you’re looking for!
And now my most favorite thing I’ve done in awhile – trapeze flying class at the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. Our instructor Mary Kelly, who teaches each class, has been a trapeze artist for over 20, so we knew we were in excellent hands. We began our class on the ground, where we learned how to properly kick our legs, flip our legs over the bar and how we would take off. And before, we knew it, we were off and flying in the air! It was simply amazing.
Circus Arts doesn’t just teach trapeze – they teach a full array of circus arts, from acrobatics, juggling, wire walking and more. For anyone who’s interested or nervous about taking a trapeze class, Mary Kelly says, “Come with who you are, you don’t need to have any prerequisites. Don’t think you’re not strong enough – you are enough. Just show up and be willing to try!” At the risk of sounding cheesy, it was an incredible experience and was also a lesson in facing fears. Classes are $63 each, and as of right now, classes will be available until October! Our class was comped, all opinions are my own.
Last but certainly not least – Philadelphia’s Circuit Trails. It’s still so beautiful out, which means it’s a great time to check out the Circuit Trails throughout the Philly area. One of the best perks of a robust trail network like the Circuit Trails? Access to the waterfront! From the Delaware the Schuylkill, so many trails connect communities directly to the water – opening up a world of possibility and waterside fun. Check out the Schuylkill River Trail, Ulysses Wiggins Waterfront Park Promenade, Wissahickon Valley Park Trail, Tacony-Palmyra Bridge Walkway and John Heinz Refuge Trail.
