Visit Covent Garden, London

If you happen to ever find yourself in London, your visit has to include a stop to Covent Garden, the popular shopping, dining and performing area in the West End. It’s quite easy to spend an entire day here exploring and enjoying the sights. I spent the day enjoying a pint at The White Lion pub, watching multiple street performers, and shopping at many of the seemingly hundreds of stores there. The highlight of my day was listening and clapping along to a string quartet, who was giving a modern twist on classical music favorites. Best of all, it’s totally free to visit (unless of course you go on a shopping spree)!

A quick stop into the Royal Opera House was a must.

French artist Charles Pétillon‘s art instillation was also on display, which features an astounding 100,000 giant balloons!
