{New Lush Review} – Fizzbanger, Twilight, Avobath

As many of my friends know, my Lush obsession has gotten way out of control (you’ll know if you’ve seen my first Lush post). But if a product can relax me, make me smell great, and has great beauty benefits to it, why not splurge a little? Lush products have become part of my every day routine, from face cleansers, to shower gels, and to the one product everyone loves, bath bombs. With the winter cold officially upon us, there’s nothing like relaxing in a hot bath, and a bath bomb is the perfect way to maximize your relaxation. So in order to hopefully help you choose which bath bomb is perfect for you, here’s a list of some of my favorite bath bombs, all of which are vegan and cruelty-free!

Fizzbanger – Lush describes the Fizzbanger experience as “an alluring symphony of crackling candy, and a potion of spectacular slow fizzing spectrum of swirling color. The scent changes right before your nose, pulling you in with a delectable blend of crisp apples and cinnamon that settles into a spicy cinnamon toffee.” Delicious, right? I was especially excited to try out this bath bomb to hear the popping candies in the water; I love a bath bomb with a little something extra to it. Fizzbanger created swirls of yellow and blue, and left the water an electric green color. I would recommend using in the morning (if you have time), as the cinnamon and lemon fragrance will definitely wake you up.

Twilight – This is the perfect bath bomb to use when you really need to relax and unwind, especially before bed. Twilight contains lavender oil, ylang ylang oil, and tonka absolute, and has a wonderful, calming lavender scent to it. When dropped into the bath, the water turns into beautiful pastel shades of blue and pink, and finally a deep purple hue when done fizzing. The picture doesn’t do it justice, but the lustre left the water shimmery and glittery. Between the warm water and the calming scent, this bath bomb will help you drift into sleep.

Avobath – Finally, my new favorite bath bomb, the Avobath. I actually waited awhile to use this because it made my room smell so good. Avobath includes ingredients such as avocado, lemongrass oil, and bergamot oil, and is moisturizing for the skin. While it doesn’t change crazy colors or contain a surprise, this bath bomb is still a dream. It has a lovely citrus scent which isn’t over-powering, and you feel like you’re swimming in mermaid water. I will definitely be purchasing again.

If you want an even better idea of what these bath bomb will look like, especially if you don’t live near a Lush store, I highly suggest you check out this YouTube playlist of bath bomb demos. 1. […] My Lush obsession continues with a Lush cocktail I’ve seen on social media called Mermaid Water. “Lush cocktail” gets its’ name from the combination of several Lush products, creating something beautiful, like Mermaid Water. I finally got around to creating this myself, and wanted to share with you how I did it today. In order to create this dreamy, under-the-sea cocktail, you’ll need the Big Blue Bath Bomb and the Sunny Side Bubble Bar. […]
