Hello my lovely Lushies, it’s time for another Lush review post. Today we’re talking face masks, cleansers and soaps. And as always, these thoughts are completely my own and totally unbiased in order to give you the best review possible!
- The Cup O’ Coffee face mask is quite possibly the best way to wake yourself up in the morning, where your skin can get a delicious dose of caffeine. If you’re not a fan of the smell of coffee, then this mask is definitely not for you, but it certainly does wonders for the skin. Cup O’ Coffee consists of the “intoxicating aroma of freshly brewed coffee and sweet roasted cocoa extract,” and can be used on both the face and body. Highly recommend if you need that extra boost waking up in the morning and you have time to spare for a mask! Just leave on for 5 to 10 minutes, and gently remove with water.

The Ocean Salt Face and Body Cleanser is one of Lush’s most popular products, and it’s easy to see why. One of the reasons it’s so popular could be that it smells like a margarita…or probably because it’s just such a great cleanser. Ocean Salt contains sea salt (the name probably gave that away), avocado, lime, coconut oil, and traces of alcohol. When you first open Ocean Salt, you’ll need to mix all of the ingredients together. If you’re buying in the store, a Lush employee can mix it together for you, as well. If you had to buy a cleanser from Lush, you certainly cannot go wrong with Ocean Salt and Herbalism, another favorite of mine. Absolutely love this product.

I also received a few Lush samples from online purchases – I think Lush throws in a sample for each online order (ugh ILY so much Lush). Here’s what I got:
- The Parsley Porridge Soap – Not my favorite scent. I think this is one I will use as a hand soap rather than a shower soap. Perhaps a good soap to keep in the kitchen, as the name suggests.
- The Sandstone Soap – My favorite of the bunch. It has a rough outer layer which is a great for exfoliating, and has citrusy notes and gardenia oils.
- Bohemian soap has a refreshing lemon scent, and is another favorite of mine.
I hope you’ve enjoyed another Lush post! I may go a bit overboard with my love of Lush, but these products have totally changed my entire beauty routine. Shopping at Lush can also be a bit overwhelming, so I hope these posts can be of use when deciding what to buy! And if there are any products in particular you’d like me to review, let me know 🙂
Until next time,
