Bonus: The 12 Best Airbnbs in Philadelphia
Welcome to your monthly dose of Philly Finds. Hope you’ve all been doing well <3 I’ve been taking things day by day…OH! And I voted this week, freak yuh. Tomorrow is the LAST register to vote in PA – I BEG of you to do so if you’re not registered already!
Alrighty, let’s get into it…
Viaduct PHL
Bumping this to the #1 spot. Across from Love City Brewery, you’ll find Viaduct PHL, a space for “micro gatherings with purpose in a garden oasis.” A pop-up thrift shop greeted us one Sunday there, as well as several chickens. Follow them on Instagram for their latest outdoor offerings and events.

Queen and Rook
Roll the dice at Queen and Rook. My boyfriend and I recently visited there for the first time, thoroughly enjoying the plant-based food and cocktails they serve. We ate our meal so quickly I forgot to take photos, but the food was excellent. You don’t need to visit Queen and Rook just to play games, the food is that good. They even have an on-site “game master” to safely show you how to play board games. Prefer to purchase your own game for the home? Shop locally and purchase from their shop.
One thing I really appreciated about Queen and Rook was its inclusivity. For example, servers wore name tags indicating their pronouns. We dined outside, and the staff was kind enough to allow me to come inside briefly to snag some photos. Games galore!
Local PHL
A new gem to welcome in the Washington Square neighborhood. From the Local PHL website:
“Local PHL Market was started in May of 2020 to help support local Philadelphia small businesses and creators in a time of need! The idea was born from the desire to help connect Philadelphians with some of the most sought after local brands, brands that were struggling due the global pandemic. The support of Local PHL Market has far exceeded the co-founders expectations and they know the market will be around far longer than Corona Virus.”
Candles, jewelry, bath/shower goodies, home decor and more await you at Local PHL.

Wayward
Philly blogger Francy and I enjoyed outdoor dining at The Wayward, an American brasserie, which recently opened in East Market. Gin is their specialty, and they also offer a raw bar. It’s an ideal spot to go for a bite or drink after work.
There’s quite a lot happening in the “East Market” section of the city, it’s certainly worth checking out the area (a new Federal Donuts just opened in the area, and it looks like a bagel shop is coming soon).

I was gifted these two items, opinions are my own
Kombrewcha
I fell in love with Kombrewcha this past summer. They recently announced some changes to their portfolio with the addition of two new flavors – Mango Pineapple and Blood Orange – and a brand new, first-of-its-kind, variety 4-pack. The new products are rolling out on shelves this month and will be joining Kombrewcha’s core flavors, and fan favorites, Berry Hibiscus and Ginger Lemon.

Coast
And after you finish your adult beverage, or even if you’re not a drinker, gulp down a Coast – a drink designed “to help you along and optimize your performance and recovery.” Use code POSITIVE for 20% off your order.
