The seafood dish of your dreams 🦞🦪 at Davio’s KOP

When a place is really good, you’ll want to go back again, again and again. A wonderful combination of atmosphere, food, hospitality and company makes a meal that much more enjoyable. So much so, that you’ll already be planning your return.

This past fall, I had the opportunity to dine at Davio’s location in King of Prussia’s Town Center (check out that post here).When I was invited to return and try other menu items, I jumped at the chance faster than you can say grazie mille!

Davio’s KOP “serves an array of carefully sourced and seasonally inspired Italian cuisine featuring homemade pastas, fresh salads and prime steaks.” Their spot in the KOP Town Center makes a visit there all that more appealing, where you can also shop before your meal. A true “ladies who lunch” moment. Or if you’d prefer to enjoy your meal at home, they are also offering take out.

Now, let’s dive into this elegant meal…

Fresh bread, eggplant chips, olive oil – an ideal way to begin a meal

You’ve heard of a raw bar – but have you heard of a hot raw bar? Davio’s hot raw bar offers tuna, shrimp, oyster, lobster, scallops and more. THIS is a dream dish for any seafood lover. Each bite was more delicious than the next. I myself am not a big scallops person, and I have to say I could have eaten multiple of them, they were cooked so perfectly.

Drooling yet?
I had to get the white truffle gnocchi again, which was an absolute highlight on my first visit there. The gnocchi is so light and fluffy and leaves you feeling satisfied, but not too full for your main course.

Finally – the Farro and Kale Salad, Delicata Squash, Peppadews, Cauliflower, Manchego, Cider Vinaigrette, with added Chicken
