Old City’s André Richard Salon, in conjunction with Sea Me Events, hosted an event in honor of World Diversity Day, where attendees had the chance to experience a fabulous day of glam. I had the opportunity to photograph the event, and meet the lovely stylists of the salon, the beautiful models, and Sea Me Events founders. A few years ago, I had the coolest hair treatment done at André Richard Salon (read about the experience here), and it was a pleasure to be back and to shoot this event.
A portion of all proceeds from this will benefit LUCY Outreach, which serves low-income youth in Camden.

Meet the models:
- Anti-gun Violence Advocate: Aeesha Muhammad has lost family members to gun violence. She is working with Anchors Camp, a sleep-away camp giving disadvantaged youth a week away from the chaos of the city.
- Teen Advocate for Down Syndrome: Yardley teen Bella Rabena received a prom makeover. She recently had a Promposal that went viral on TikTok.
- First Generation College Grad: Wendy Lam graduated from Temple University’s Klein School and is gearing up for interviews and a workforce transformation.
If you’re interested in attending an upcoming Sea Me event, they are hosting a Taste of Italy dinner later in June!
