Philly Finds Vol. 4

Helllllooooo friends <3 Today, I’m sharing some recent discoveries as part of my Philly Finds series!

The allongée technique – If you want a serious, butt-kicking workout, head over to allongée technique; seriously.  I’ve been to their Waist Away classes and left fully worked out from head to toe. The idea behind their technique is to mimic the muscle movements in a typical ballet class. You’ll do everything from working abs, arms, cardio – everything. Use code CAMILLEFC18 20% off all class and package purchases (not an affiliate code).

Gravy Wars by Lorraine Ranalli – My family and I cannot get enough of this book. Gravy Wars is a fun look into the Italian-American culture, and is EXTREMELY relatable if you come from an Italian family in the Philly area, like me. Just take a look at her South Philly/Italian Glossary below (I’m very familiar with the word kyackyadon 😉 ):

Verizon Event Destination Dogs – I recently attended an event hosted by Verizon at Destination Dogs. We tested out some of Verizon’s new products, like the smart watch I’m admiring below, and had some delicious hot dogs (veggie one for me)! One of my favorite products is a tiny photo printer, which prints photos from your phone. It was such a fun location for an event, because in addition to the great food, there are arcade games! They also sent us home with some amazing products, pictured below. Thank you so much for having us!

Chaddsford Winery’s Sauvignon Blanc – This crisp, with-just-a-hint-of-fruitiness wine is a definite summer staple. I enjoyed it with a yummy risotto dish, and I need to stock up with more for the summer. Thanks to my friends at Food Shelter PR for the delicious delivery! Cheers!

Groundswell Greetings – Philadelphia-based company Groundswell Greetings sent over some beautiful and fun cards! I especially love that each card is designed by an independent artist. Definitely consider Groundswell cards for a unique gift.

Finally, some fun updates and housekeeping:

That’s all from me for right now! I have a *slight* feeling since June will be a busy month I’ll be blogging just a bit less than usual. Have a LOVELY long weekend and I’ll see you all soon! xo

*The allongée technique class, wine and cards were all gifted to me; all opinions are my own.
