Welcome back for another round of Philly Finds*. We are getting ready to dip into that fall content, and after a walk around the city yesterday, I couldn’t be more ready for it. This round-up is particularly food and drink heavy, and I think you’re gonna like what you’ll find here.
*(A side bar for my blogger friends – do you ever struggle with trying to come up with new post intros? Because I definitely do – let me know how you keep your intros creative).
Triple Bottom Brewing – the brewery with a social mission. 🍻✨ Newly opened in Spring Garden, Triple Bottom Brewery has triple bottom line – meaning that it is in their DNA to take action in support of the community, neighbors and the environment — not just profit margins. They are also partnering with non-profits here in Philly to take their mission to the next level. Stop by for a fantastic beer (loved the Front Stoop), and support the community.
Let’s consider this next portion of this post to be the “Several Savory Sandwiches Section” (we just love alliteration).
J’aime French Bakery, located in the Gayborhood. They recently celebrated their 2-year anniversary, and I stopped to pick up their famous pretzel croissant. Everything in the bakery is freshly made, with a fun French/Philly twist.
With football season upon us, you’re gonna need a lil something to help you get up to function at Eagles tailgates (or Penn State games) on the weekends. I recently tried Coast, a vegan, gluten-free beverage designed to help kick your hangover – and it worked. Throw it down the hatch right before or after your first adult beverage, and you’ll be good to go. Use code POSITIVE at checkout for 20% off your purchase!
Keep spreadin’ that Philly luv ❤
