So a lot of you have been asking about my skincare routine…

Obligatory not sponsored language

It’s been a minute since my last skincare routine post, and I decided it’s time for an updated one. Especially after this weekend when my little cousins told me that “I look 26 instead of 29.” So yea, I guess you could say this routine is working. I won’t go into my full struggle with cystic acne, but I’ll say I’m so happy I’ve found something that finally works for me. I also do my best to shop cruelty free, and I do recognize that some of these products may not be.

I’m also currently on a hair care journey and will be posting about that in the near future. Stay tuned!

We’ll start wit the priciest item on the list. An investment item if you will. After seeing NYC Blonde sing the praises of this on her Instagram, I decided to invest in the NuFACE Mini Facial Toning Device. This also came with a Gel Primer. It delivers a quick shock to the face, which “helps improve facial contour, tone, and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.” The things we do for beauty, eh?

I am a sucker for the cult favorite that is the Glossier Milky Jelly Cleanser

…and its dupe, the Cetaphil Skin Cleanser, which is having quite the moment now due to TikTok.

Philly bloggers and skincare experts Alex and Mike preach about the importance of incorporating products with SPF into one’s routine, which is something I’m working on. The Neutrogena Oil-Free Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 15 is an old (and inexpensive) standby.

Castor oil has been my secret weapon as of recent, and I love to slather it on before bed.

I’ve also been enjoying this Bliss Hydration Salvation Camellia Facial Oil

Now I don’t want to pit two powerful women against each other, but I do prefer a gua sha tool over a jade roller for lymphatic drainage. The Mount Lai gua sha is a favorite to use in conjunction with the two serums above before bed.

This last one might be controversial. If you follow me on the socials, you might remember a few months ago I fell for a influencer brand deal scam (subscribe to the Patreon for the full story). This facial cleanser brush is the item in question that was at the center of the scam – and dammit it’s great. I love how smooth and fresh my skin feels after I use it. Here’s a selection of similar tools via Ulta.
